Too Long Too Long
Well, it's been a long time since I updated this blong.
Things have changed a lot since my last post. The kiddos are growing up and we are buying a house!!! YAYYYYY.. We will probably move sometime around the middle of June. It's going to be nice to have our own place finally...
Ok so, the pic above is not quite the same as the one we are buying. Ours will not be brick. But it's basically the same.
Hope to keep you all updated and will post some more pics soon..

Kinda explains how I feel this week

So, it's been a month that I have been back on the wagon with the yoga. It's great, but also one of the greatest challenges ever. I mean, it's hard to go from being a total couch potato to being this active again. The yoga is soooooo great, though. And I really do feel much better. I have to laugh at myself from time to time and remember that I do have a little baby and a two year old. Most moms that have that much to do really don't worry about exercise (I guess). It's just become a HUGE priority for me. Like, so much is so out of control that I really feel the need to get back in shape. Maybe it's the newyear thing. You know, the whole resolution thing. Or maybe it's just where I am in life. Either way, it's nice to be active, and to have something to do besided wipe booties!!!!
Seriously, though, I really do sweat like a (ahem) PIG!!
Peace

Birthdays
Well, so, tomorrow is my birthday. I will be 27 years old. I guess I feel the same, but also older. Wiser, perhaps. I like it. Getting older means freedom for me. I guess because the older I get, the older the kids get. The more we grow together.

Valentine's Day
Well, it's Valentine's Day today. I never really cared about this holiday until I was hooked up with Dave. Not that I was one of those girls who is like, "woa is me, I have nobody to love..." I was just not really that into the day. Now that I am married, I do enjoy it. Sometimes I think it's a little overdone. With all the candy, junk, flowers, cards, gifts... It's a little much. All to somehow show somebody that you love them?? When you are a kid, you send those silly little 2x2 valentine cards with the tiny envelopes that have no seal on them. You know, you end up with like forty of them in your "special box" in your class at school. Most of the time, they have Scooby Doo or some Peanuts character on them. Now those I can really appreciate. Simple, fun. If you are lucky and the other kids in your class are really loaded, you end up with ones that have suckers or candy hearts stuck to them. Jackpot!!! If you are really really lucky you might even get some cinnamon hearts in a little plastic baggie. Now, that's Valentine's Day.
Today, I have a card for my hubby and a number of chocolatey items that we will enjoy together. It's nice, though, most of the pressure is off. We both know how deep our love is, so no amount of refined sugar is going to make us feel more in love. However, it is nice to get the sugar high... I also gave my son some of the M&M's I got earlier. He was really happy. Not sure he has embraced the idea that it is really a special day, though.
So, go on and enjoy the sugar. Oh, and don't forget to tell those you love how awesome they are. Especially your family.
Peace

Another week
Well, this week has been long and difficult, but it's nearly over. Elijah, as it turns out, didn't just have a cold. He had a respiratory infection which landed us in the ER on Monday. Now we have a nebulizer and a truckload of medicine to give him. He is feeling better though. I am glad for this. I haven't gotten much sleep and have been also feeling rotten. But I have gotten to go to class a few times this week. I think the heat has helped my respiratory system stay open. I hope to take again in the morning. Dad is being very good about watching the boys for me. Last night in class, I was so dizzy.. I just keep kneeling down. Oh well, the class card is payed for. No loss.
Motherhood is such a journey. Everyday I find something else new that I didn't know about my kids. Simon is learning so much everyday. Now, he is trying to put sentences together. It's funny because he just says "uuhhh" for the words he can't say. Elijah is working on grasping. He sticks his little fist out and opens his hand. It's really slow and he works so hard. Usually he grabs clothing, or whatever is closest to his face. Like my face or glasses. Right now he is swinging and staring at the little bear mobile in front of him. I wonder what he thinks of all these inanimate things we give him to focus on. I wonder what I would think....
Dave is now on chapter five of his book. I am so proud of him... He's really making it happen. Who knows maybe he will turn into one of those writers who tours the country and signs books. Imagine, my hunky man, just signing books for a living. Pretty nice...
We aren't planning much for this weekend. There is a major cold front on it's way. Yippeeee... I love cold.. It's a good excuse to not shower, wear sweaters, and drink hot cocoa...
